Level Descriptions
FUN LEAGUE
Description: Fun League is open to both boys and girls. Fun League may be known as T-ball to a lot of organizations. We don't call it that because we work on both hitting off of a tee and hopefully is almost all coach pitch by the end of the year. Fun League will be split into teams and teams will rotate between hitting, batting, base running and catching stations for the first few weeks. Fun league ends the season with some games! Typical schedule is Sundays and Wednesdays in late May and June.
Ages: Kids Ages 4 & 5 (must be 4 by April 30th.)

DEVELOPMENTAL
Girls & Boys - Kindergarten & First Graders at the time of registration.
Registration Fee: $110
Description:
Our Developmental age group is coach pitch and a tee only if needed. Teams will bat through the orders in each inning. Most games are in Cloquet, Carlton or Chub Lake. Games are typically played Tuesday & Thursday nights with practices starting in late May. More specific schedules will be issued after registration.
MINORS (formerly known as Rookies)
Players ages - Second & Third Graders at the time of registration.
Registration Fee: $145
Description: With an in house league we can make teams small and players will get MANY more ball touches, versus a mostly game format which provides few ball touches. Pitching machines were integrated in 2025 with positive feedback. Players will pitch during season, but if four balls are thrown, a coach will come in and finish the at bat, ensuring kids get a chance to hit.
We will start the week with a Sunday practice open to all teams, and will be run in station format allowing kids to get many reps at things like hitting, fielding, pitching, etc. Games / practices will be held Tuesday and Thursday nights. Games will start in approximately mid-June. More specific schedules will be issued at a later date with actual dates.
MAJORS
Players ages 10 & 11 - 4th & 5th Graders at the time of registration.
Registration Fee: $160
Description: Players will be evaluated in February & March. We play as part of the Quad Cities League, so games can be in Esko, Cloquet, Proctor, Duluth, Alborn, and others. Games are usually Monday & Wednesday nights, starting in late May, with practices often on other evenings. More specific schedules will be issued at a later date with actual dates.
MODIFIEDS (13U)
Players ages 12 & 13 - 6th & 7th graders at the time of registration.
Registration Fee: $175

JR LEGION & LEGION
Player ages: 10th - 12th graders at the time of registration.
Registration fee: $225
Description: Players will compete in the Jr.Legion and Legion programs.
